Whether for soloists, ensembles, or interdisciplinary performances, my autonomous works are rooted in emotional depth, storytelling, and personal expression, while bridging tradition and experimentation.
My music is shaped by my Iranian heritage, classical training, and love of literature. I’ve had the honor of receiving commissions from festivals such as Gaudeamus, November Music, and Grachtenfestival, where I also curated Migration of Violets, spotlighting Iranian female composers.

2025. A mono-drama revolving around involuntary memory. The scent of orange blossoms awakens buried memories and hidden fears of loss, tracing the fragile space between remembering, grieving, and what remains afterward.

Premiered by Jamie Jordan and CAMP ensemble in Tampa, Florida, USA- March 5 2026

2023. For solo cello. Inspired by a distant childhood memory of an Azerbaijani dance performance: women in blue tulle dresses surrounding a central figure in yellow. The piece unfolds in two movements: Blue and Sarı (“yellow” in Azerbaijani), as a tribute to memory, heritage, and my father’s Azerbaijani roots.

2023. For soprano, cello, saxophone, piano.

A song cycle composed in the aftermath of the Women, Life, Freedom movement and later curated into a concert program alongside works by Iranian female composers at Grachtenfestival 23. The piece is shaped by longing, displacement, and a melancholic sense of homeland and memory.

2023. For solo clarinet, inspired by Nazım Hikmet’s poem The Walnut Tree. The piece reflects a state of stillness under pressure, where inner life continues to move beneath an unmoving exterior, shaped by breath, resistance, and quiet transformation.
